Mercedes-Benz loads revamped GL with more room, safety gear


The GL was always a capable performer, with roomy interior, powerful engines and real off-road gear. What it lacked was style and it appears that it has some of it now. It is pricey, but with the diesel engine it offers real value to luxury SUV buyers.
